Nut Butter Recipe

Today we have a guest writer! My beautiful best friend, Amelie Perrier, is sharing one of her go-to recipes: nut butter. This recipe is so easy, tasty, and healthy! What more can you ask for?? This recipe usually takes Amelie 7-10 minutes and can be done with any type of nut. Honey peanut butter is her personal favorite, but she is dying to try cashew butter.

What you’ll need:

  • food processor (a blender works too)
  • 3 cups of almonds (Amelie buys the raw, unseasoned ones)
  • pan

Instructions

  1. Pour the almonds into the pan and bake on 400 for 10 minutes
    • Line with parchment paper to make transferring them easier
  2. Take them out of the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes
  3. Put the almonds in the food processor and blend
    • The whole almonds are going to turn into powder, then a ball, then eventually creamy
  4. While they are blending, use a spatula to keep pushing the sides down
  5. Once the almond butter has a creamy consistency, you can add whatever you want to give it flavoring!
    • Amelie usually adds honey or maple syrup, but you can add anything from cinnamon, vanilla, salt, etc…
  6. Let the almond butter cool in the processor and then put it in a container and refrigerate!

This is the perfect topping for any snack or to put in smoothies. Thank you Amelie for this amazing recipe! Leave a comment down below if you end up making it!

Amelie is a rising sophomore at Dartmouth, is on the field hockey team, and is one of my best friends from home ❤️
