My tips and tricks for getting ready for a school formal. I had the most amazing time with my friends. Sad it was our last cotillion :( Enjoy!!
- Nails- Pretty simple. Just pick a color that goes with your outfit.
- Shave legs- here are my tips for getting the SMOOTHEST legs.
- Exfoliate your legs before you shave. I just use a sugar body scrub, but you can literally make this at home with brown sugar and honey. This just removes all the dead skin so you can get a cleaner shave.
- Shave with a new razor. Again, sharper blade, cleaner shave.
- Shave with conditioner. This is an odd one, but my friend told me about this hack and it has really changed the game. I have no idea why, but it makes your legs so soft and smells great.
- Put lotion on as soon as your legs are dry and then reapply later.
- Get hair done- I always envision what hair style I want with the dress I am wearing and come with an inspiration picture. This has made my blow outs 10000x better and I would really recommend doing this.
- Makeup- I did my makeup myself this year, so is what I did.
- Primer– this primer is great. I just got it, but it moisturizes, color corrects, and evens out your skin tone.
- Tinted Moisturizer– I go for very natural looks, so I love this product because it is very lightweight and makes your skin still look like skin. I just blend this in with a beauty blender.
- Concealer– Again, I like more natural concealer because I just use it to conceal my under eye circles and this one is perfect for that. I also blend this in with my beauty blender.
- Setting Powder– Set my concealer with powder. To prevent creasing.
- Eyes- I did a natural smokey eye. I am not great at eyeshadow, so this look was very simple. Here is the tutorial I followed.
- Contour– I am also terrible at contour, so I just use this super easy cream counter and blend it out a ton and I think it looks good. To be honest, I can’t really tell if it makes a difference…
- Bronzer– This is also my favorite bronzer and I just put it over where I contoured.
- Blush– I LOVE this glossier blush. It makes you look like you have a natural blush and is so cute.
- Highlight– This highlight has been my go to for over a year and I have hit pan. It is stunning and natural and I just put it on the highpoint of my face: cheek bones, ball of my nose, under my eye brows, and cupids bow.
- Eyebrows– Eyebrows make such a difference for me. I am on my third brow pencil from Anastasia and they’re amazing. I then set it with the Anastasia brow gel.
- Mascara– This is just the best mascara ever. I curl my eyelashes and then use it and it looks like I’m wearing fake eyelashes.
- Setting Spray– I also do not think this really does anything, but it smells good so I do it.
- Put on dress and shoes and you’re ready to go!
